1. The Agreement
These Terms of Service ("Terms") govern your access to the Pxlit website and services. Your use of the Pxlit Mobile Application is additionally governed by the platform-specific EULA. In the event of a conflict regarding software licensing, the EULA takes precedence.
2. Accounts & billing
- Registration: Accurate information is required for account creation.
- Subscriptions: Paid tiers (Creator/Pro) unlock the Commercial Use License as defined in the EULA.
- Cancellations: Subscriptions managed via App Stores must be cancelled through those respective platforms.
3. Prohibited Conduct
Pxlit is a professional video editing tool. You agree not to use the software for any unlawful purpose. This includes, but is not limited to, the creation of content that violates copyright or promotes illegal activities. Pxlit Inc. is a tool provider; users are solely responsible for the media they import and the output they generate.
4. Intellectual Property
- Pxlit IP: Pxlit Inc. owns all software, branding, and proprietary "framing" technology.
- User Content: You retain full ownership of your media. Pxlit Inc. does not claim ownership of the videos you create.
5. Changes to Service
Pxlit Inc. reserves the right to modify these terms as we introduce new features, such as cloud-based processing. You will be notified of significant changes via the App or Email.
6. Limitation of Liability
To the maximum extent permitted by law, Pxlit Inc. is not liable for any data loss, hardware damage, or indirect damages arising from the use of the software. The service is provided "As-Is."
7. Governing Law
All legal matters are governed by the laws of the Commonwealth of Pennsylvania, with exclusive jurisdiction in Chester County.
